Rant about Liam's career and life

Is2g some of Liam's best songs were actually the unreleased ones or the bonus tracks on limited editions, which he was more heavily involved with writing. It's just wild how mismanaged his career was. He was talented AF. I'm so perplexed by how shit went down for him professionally. In theory, with the right timing and promo, Trouble could've been a hit. Defo some viral Tiktok shit. Tho my style is more What Have You Done, Before It Ends, and Hurting Me. Trouble is so cool tho. That would've been a hype song live.

Curiously enough, those are the only songs I can listen to right now without losing it. Probably because I don't necessarily associate them with any particular point of his career since they weren't part of the official track list. There's a certain safe distance. Plus, it's almost like getting 'new' music in a way, which keeps him alive somehow. Obv not new but ykwim.

Also, Liam's cover of Everything I Wanted is amazing. He truly had been calling out for help for so long. Seems like plenty of people turned away from him and brushed him off as someone else's problem. Now here we are and people just move on acting like he never existed to some of them. Tragic.

I miss Liam 🥺 We are almost half a year in and I'm no closer to getting over it. I might as well accept he was once in a generation for me so this will never go away for me as a fan. I will be 80 and remembering him.

Imagine:

Imagine you are in your baby girls bedroom and you’re cradling her tiny sleeping body in your arms. The soothing warmth of her fuzzy onesie heated up your skin. You walk around the room smiling down at your gorgeous girl. As you turn towards the door, your eyes avert from your baby to your husband. Ushijima smiled as he entered the room. He stood beside you and placed one arm on the small of your back and the other went to rest under your arm and your baby’s head for additional support.

“As soon as I put her pyjamas on.” You whispered back. A yawn followed soon after even though you didn’t feel like going to bed. Ushijima let out a small chuckle and he began to wriggle his hands past your arms to grab your baby. His ginormous palms nearly engulfed her body as they wrapped around her sleeping figure.

If you didn’t have a sleep wave suddenly wash over you, you’d want to pounce your husband and ride him like there’s no tomorrow show him how much you love him. It’s a damn dirty shame though that Ushijima has to work early in the morning. No amount of fatigue could drag you away from this moment. The vision of watching your gorgeous husband holding your beautiful sleeping baby. Ushijima tenses his hands as he shifted your daughter in his arms enough to slowly and gently place her down in her crib. You both wait a few minutes to make sure that she doesn’t wake up.

As you exit the room you make sure to sun off the lights completely. The only light left was the slight hue of blue and pink coming from your daughters mobile above her crib. The two of you left hand in hand, making your way to your shared bedroom. Ushijima slipped his hand away and slithered it around your waist, pulling you flushed against him.

“I love you.” Ushijima mumbled with a low, tired grumble. You leant your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes as you made it to your bedroom. The bed was ready for you two to jump in, the beside tables had lamps that were ready to get shut off for the night. The window was slightly cracked open, a night summer breeze flowed in. Your husband jumped into bed first, you following soon after. You wrapped your arms around his body immediately after getting the blankets and pillows situated.

“I’m so lucky.” You snored against his chest.

“Not as lucky as me.”

Sorry if the ending sucked. I have been working all day everyday for the past 3 weeks and I am getting through the day on 2 hrs of sleep.

what really truly convinced me charlie didnt ever like cameron was the deleted scene - in the cave - because "who knows, who cares?" wouldnt be his response if he did. it all makes more sense if he hated him the whole time anyway. not telling him about neil, insulting him daily, glaring at him in the beggining, telling him not to come to the meetings...? would you do that to someone you cared about? i dont think charlie was joking and i dont think he "secretly liked him all along." in fact i think the whole movie is setting you up to hate cameron from the beggining, which is funny because thats why i like him so much. its not setting you up via camerons actions, just what the others say about him - which doesnt work. that just makes everyone else look cruel. it makes cameron look justified. of course he turned to nolan when he was being treated like that. you cant "they were right to hate him all along" when they - mostly charlie - treated him like that. it just makes it look like they pushed him to it. its funny, the attempt to make cameron dislikable is what makes him so likable and sympathetic for me.

(obligatory "i like everyone in this movie but theyre mean to cameron to an unreasonable degree and we should aknowledge that and can do so without hating the others)
